Ming
Ming graduated from Beijing Dance Academy Affiliated Secondary School in 1976 and became a teacher of Chinese traditional dance until she attended Beijing Dance Academy in 1980, where she pursued a four-year major in Chinese Traditional Dance, earning her a B.A. degree. She continued teaching after graduation, and from 1998 to 2005, Ming was a lecturer for the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and simultaneously acted as the director of Hong Kong’s Children Choir and guest instructor for the Hong Kong Dance Company. Ming has since been invited back to the Beijing Dance Academy as a visiting professor to teach fundamental Chinese traditional dance technique for the graduating class in 2012. Ming has also spread her expertise to the world of dance competitions. She has acted as a judge for various Chinese traditional dance competitions, and even coached a dance team to compete for the Taoli Cup, where they were awarded first place.
